Baby Monitors for Infants
When monitoring newborn babies the emphasis is on sleep safety, and BabySecurity stock a wide range of monitors and products that will alert you if the baby’s breathing becomes irregular. BabySecurity’s range of breathing, respiratory and movement monitors cater for every budget and circumstance. The Respisense Buzz Monitor and Snuza Mobile Baby Monitor are completely portable, and can be used anywhere your baby is sleeping, including travel cots, car seats, baby seats and everywhere in between. Baby Movement Monitors clip on to the baby’s clothing, and will alert you if the baby’s breathing stops for 15 seconds.
An excellent alternative to breathing effort monitors are Baby Heartbeat Sensor Monitors, like the Babysense II – a medically approved device that monitors the entire cot through two fixed sensor mats under the baby’s mattress. Baby Monitors for more than one child
Some of BabySecurity’s Audio Monitors can monitor can transmit to more than one parent unit at once, and many of them give excellent transmission quality through a secure channel. If you have twins or triplets and require a system that will allow monitoring of more than one child at a time, you will require a Video Baby Monitor. The majority of models will monitor up to 4 rooms , often with autoscan features, and even sleep modes.
Standard Wireless Video Baby Monitors can at times be affected by home electrics such as Wireless Broadband which, in some cases, can cause images to be less than perfect. However a number of screen sizes are available including 5.6” monitor screens. The E-thos Large Screen Monitoring System will also accept additional cameras and monitors, including an outdoor camera to make monitoring your child outdoors a realistic proposition.
Digital Monitors
Digital Video Monitors are becoming increasingly popular. Digital Baby Monitors are less prone to interference from home electronics and the transmission signals are much stronger, resulting in clearer images on the parent units. It is important to note however that digital video monitor images are less smooth than those seen on analogue monitors
