The Babydan Designer Baby Gate is pressure fit which means it can be fitted without using screws or adhesives and your openings are left intact when you no longer require the gate. Pressure Fit Stair Gate with one handed operation for ease of use.

The stairgate when closed is great, very secure. However I found I had no choice but to use the wall cups otherwise, when opened the gate just topples forward i.e it spins around the bottom spindles which should have more than enough pressure as neither indicator is visible. Even with the wall cup, it is pretty precarious and it takes very little to knock it out of the cup. Not ideal especially with small children around.

Actually use the product to block our staircase from the dog. Once the instructions were available it was a great success - an e-mail for instructions if they are missing - produces an immediate and effective response. The gate looks quite attractive and is sturdy.

We use the product for our daughter. It is of good quality and very sturdy. We have used BabyDan products before and are very happy with them. The one side does not stay on the doorframe when the gate is opened which I understand, but this can be fixed by making the gate even narrower.
