Bettacare Extra Narrow Auto-Close Pressure stair safety Gate will fit the smaller door openings and will fit stair openings between 61 cm - 67.5 cm. Bettacare (Extra Narrow Width) Auto-Close Stair Gate automatically closes and locks itself which eliminates the danger of the gate being left open. The gate will open either way. There are several extensions also available for this baby gate to ensure the best fit. The safety gate is secured to the door frame using advanced design locking handwheels which are childproof and cannot work loose during everyday use. It is also supplied with both self adhesive and screw-in wall cups to cover every installation option.

For anyone with a narrow staircase who wants an opening door in it. The gate was of good quality and arrives in two days. Tiny bit of adjusting to do because of the skirting on the staircase making it wider at the top but that is more to do with my Victorian house not the gate

Item was perfect for narrow doorway. Good quality too. Easy to fit with clear instructions. Quite a loud click when gate automatically swings shut but reassuring to know it shuts in case we forget.

Purchased to keep my dogs out of the kitchen, it fits easily, does the job and the self-closing is brilliant as I have dippy, lazy teenagers in the house for whom bothering/remembering to close a gate would be just too much trouble!

I use the gate to keep my dog from going upstairs. There are very few 'pressure' fitting gates for narrow stairs.

The product is excellent.
