Emmay Whatlock Mag Lock is a great child proofing gadget. Mag Locks can be applied to many situations and fitted inside drawers and door. Various options of Dream baby Magnetic locks are also available Magnetic Locks are the most flexible child safety and security locks catches or latches on the market today. Mag Lock is a secure magnetically operated cabinet and drawer lock designed to make it virtually impossible for children to open cabinets and drawers containing unsafe items.
Magnetic Lock is totally concealed and only opens with the patented, extremely powerful, magnetic key, refrigerator and other magnets won't work.
Simply place the magnetic key on the front of the door and your cupboard is unlocked. Close the door and it will be locked again! No awkward latches to find, even visitors will be able to open them if they have the key. The locks are totally invisible from the outside of the cupboard - and there are no keyholes to be cut. Screw holes are only needed on the inside to fix the lock and striker in place.
If protection is no longer required, temporarily or permanently, simply flip the 'holdback' bar on the back of the lock to stop the lock from locking.
This pack contains 4 Mag Locks ONLY, it does NOT contain any Keys.

Used to secure drawers and cupboards in kitchen. Easy to fit on most drawers (shallow drawers can be a problem). Key bought in another pack. Would recommend.

This is a great product when the drawer is shut then there is no gap for little fingers to get stuck in.
I only give it 4 stars because the screws that come with it are pretty hopeless. They seem really soft and burr very easily.
The template is fantastic and works really well which is a huge relief when you are trying to screw up into the top of a cupboard.
The other downside is that you have to drill a big hole in the drawer front but it can't be too deep otherwise you will go through the front which is not the idea. I would have been worried about my gung ho husband being left to fit the lock!
The instructions could do with showing how to fit the lock to a drawer rather than a cupboard but if you print off the picture above then it should keep you on track.
