Lindam Sure Shut Porte Pressure Fitted Stair Gate 75-82cm has a 'push to shut' closing mechanism which requires no fiddly alignment to close and allows simple one handed opening, ideal for busy mum and dads. The Lindam U-shaped pressure fit 'powerframe' gives ultimate strength when in position. A two way opening system and secondary locking mechanism provide added safety.

The gate is perfect for our needs particularly as it can be extended to cover larger doorways. I would definately reccomend this product

I have purchased this gate for use with a Toddler Group which is situated on a main road. I now feel confident to leave the main doors open to provide ventilation, knowing that the stair gate will prevent the little ones from running out of the building.\n\nAlthough I felt that to add the side bars on to the gate needed the help of someone with greater strength than I, once assembled, it is perfect for my requirements. The only disadvantage is the fact that you need to use the spanner to tighten up the screws - ideal if you are keeping the gate in-situ, but a bit more of a job if, like me, you only use it occasionally (once per week).

Was slightly tricky to assemble the extensions. but after a few cursing words and some perseverence, managed to fit it all together in about half an hour! now its up and fitted its great!

The gate itself is excellent (I would give 5 stars for it alone). I bought two extensions with the gate and they were incredibly hard to fit - much harder than the gate itself which took about 5mins. Also, do not expect to dismantle the extensions afterwards - we had to use a hammer to fit them together! But once assembled and in place, a very secure gate.
