We have used this since our baby was tiny and we love it. It gives us peace of mind, and stops us going to check is she breathing all the time! It is great that is "buzzes" her when she needs it, and the alarm has woken us promptly. There have been a couple of false alarms when it fell off her - we don''t put it on the nappy, but slide it onto the front of her sleepsuit. It would be more likely to give false alarms this way, but would still go off if needed. It is nice to see the little light flashing away as she breathes. We put our baby in her own room at about 3.5 mths - mummy needed some sleep, and baby was too noisy shuffling about! We couldn''t have done that without this monitor, so it was a godsend! I''m going to buy one for a newly pregnant friend, and will use ours for any others that come along!
Pros: tiny, no wires, portable,
Cons: none

When I found my little boy of 13 wk''s not breathing in his pram it was my worse nightmare, luckily I managed to resusitate him just before the ambulance arrived although he went off again on the way to hospital, however he survived his ordeal and because he was breathing on admission to A+E the doctors all looked very disbelieving that this event actually happened (despite the ambulance men witnessing his 2nd event!!) Anyway we were discharged the day after with no tests, no answers and no reassurances!!
We looked for monitors as we obviously could not sleep for watching Sam didnt stop breathing again, we found respisense and ordered one. Not only did it arrive in record time but it has been a god send. It has buzzed and stimulated Sam to breath a few times and it has alarmed once when Sam needed more of our help to remember that breathing is a good idea!!
Sam is now 9 months and hasnt had any further episodes luckily but he still has his respisense on each night. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Pros: compact, lightweight, no wires,
Cons: none

I have tried the Respisense on my daughter this morning and it seems to be working great. She was born 4 weeks early and because we lost our little boy (age seven weeks) last year (not to sids, he was born with a diaphragmatic hernia) we were very concerned about our daughter.
We purchased a Nircom Babysense 2 which we would not be without. That gave us so much peace of mind knowing that if she did stop breathing at least we would have warning and be able to do something about it. This was all great but did not cover our little girl if she fell asleep in her chair or when she was out and about in the pram.
I had seen the Respisense advertised a while ago and we decided that it would be great to have her covered where ever she fell asleep. It is going to be a great mind settler when we go on holiday too, it is so small and compact that it can be taken any where at all and when we are out visiting too.
I am a little worried about the size of it, because it is so small i feel it could easily be lost. It is a pity that there isn't some type of safety cord or clip to double secure it. I would recommend this to anyone who is worried about their baby. It seems rather expensive for the size of it, but then again you can't put a price on the life of your baby, as we know. I had searched the net for the best price and found your company the best value by far. I am pleased with the customer service too, very efficient and pleasant.
Thank you, I will recommend your company and this device any time at all.
Pros: A great mind settler, especially for holidays. Small and compact means it can be taken anywhere.
Cons: Very small so could get lost.
