There's no need for an electrician: all you need to do is fit the safety cover over your double wall socket - just loosen the screws, slide the cover into place, and tighten the screws up again. Just push in the clips to open the cover, giving you access to your plugs, then push it down and it clicks shut to lock.

Please note that the Socket Safe only comes in a double socket cover (as shown in the image above).

Easy enough to fit (even though my walls weren't flush to the plug!) and since the sockets are now hidden my son doesn't even look at them!

i use it for babys bedroom quite a good product although the locking is a bit flimsy but never the less does its job
