Emmay Extra Tall & Extra Wide Child Safety Stair Gate 97 - 108 cm Wide and can be used also be used as a Pet Gate. With its unique stylish arched top design and pressure mounted feature the Extra Tall Baby Gate from Emmay is versatile and makes a great dog gate.

The Emmay Care Safety Gate is ideal for stairs and doorways. The Safety Gate features a double locking mechanism yet is easy for an adult to use in a one handed operation. The Safety Gate can be opened either way and has a swing shut mechanism although we do recommend you double check the Gate is locked after closing. The Safety Gate is presssure mounted for easy installation and we recommend the use of the additional mounting cups if fitted to the stairs. This Gate has the additional benefit of being 1 metre tall, this feature allows you to easily open the gate when descending the stairs without excessive bending over to reach the mechanism, perfect when carrying small children in your arms. And lastly, this Gate is also Extra Wide allowing you to fit the Gate in Hallways without having to add Gate Extension pieces although for really wide openings you can fit all Emmay Care Extensions to suit your needs.

A maximum of 2 extensions can be used (one on either side of the gate).

The primary purpose for this product was to prevent my dogs from reaching the post. After reading an earlier review stating it successfully contained 6 German Shepherds, I hoped it would adequately contain two Jack Russells (who think they are six German Shepherds). So it proved. It is easy to install and the quality is very good . It's higher than the average stair gate, but doesn't look too obtrusive. Highly recommended for Jack Russells and toddlers alike.

I bought this stairgate to act as a barrier in my hall to keep my dogs contained. It is beautifully constructed and is looks very stylish compared to other gates I have seen. It is extremely robust and manages to hold back 6 German Shepherds! A superb gate.

I purchased this safety gate as we have a new puppy & I needed to split the kitchen & hallway, which is open plan & so quite a wide gap to fill. This gate enabled me to combine a variety of extensions to fit the gap & it's taller than most gates, which is ideal for our dog as he gets bigger! The size of the gate opening is generous (larger than others I've seen) & it doesn't look cumbersome. I went for black as I have a black high gloss kitchen & this actually blends in nicely. I would definitely recommend xx

We use this to seperate the cat and dog from the baby's pram and car seat in the hall way, it also stops the dog from running out while the front door is open when putting childseat or pram in the car. It's solidly built and quite tall and super wide so it fits the hallway without having to start drilling into the walls. We also have the option to move it around being a pressure fitting gate.
