We bought this additional camera to be able to monitor our 6 month old baby as well as our 6 year old daughter (who we recently moved to the top floor of the house).

The whole package is great. The picture quality is superb, sound excellent and variety of functions second to none.

On the negative side =>

1. If transmission is lost from 1 camera, you are not alerted.... you just see 1 bedroom. This is fine unless it happens in the middle of the night
2. If you keep the monitor screen on whilst automatically switching between cameras, there is a click and flicker most times the camera changes and so you have to keep the monitor in "scan mode" ie with a black screen that only activates is noises are made

But overall the product is fantastic. We rarely need to disturb either daughter in the night if they are making noise since we can check what is happening on the monitor. This gives us comfort they are safe but also does not disturb them in the night (our baby cries a lot in her sleep and if we go into her room and try to comfort her, she gets very distressed because we have basically woken her!)

If you are considering getting a video monitor, this is the best on the market. It is worth the extra money as you get what you pay for!
