This digital soother thermometer is suitable for newborns. The operating temperature range is 32-42.9 °C with the accuracy of 35-42 +/- 0.1 °C.
Measurement time is different is different situations; 10 secs ±3 secs in water (bath), 25 secs ±10 secs oral & rectal, 60 secs ±10 secs underarm.

The product is great but I recomend to buy it from somewhere reliable even though its much more expensive .The soother works fast its easy to use and easy to clean and also it has nice loud noise when finish measureing the temperature .
