Emmay Care Safety Gate is ideal for stairs and doorways. The Safety Gate features a double locking mechanism yet is easy for an adult to use in a one handed operation. The Safety Gate can be opened either way and has a swing shut mechanism although we do recommend you double check the Gate is locked after closing. The Safety Gate is presssure mounted for easy installation and we recommend the use of the additional mounting cups if fitted to the stairs. This Gate has the additional benefit of being 1 metre tall, this feature allows you to easily open the gate when descending the stairs without excessive bending over to reach the mechanism, perfect when carrying small children in your arms.
