The Callowesse Omni Retractable Stair Gate is here to revolutionise the retractable stairgate market. Omni is a one of its kind retractable, creating a safety barrier in your home, as, and when you need it. Its multi-directional ability to rotate 180 degrees allows you to use the gate for multiple doors with no reinstallation or relocation required.
Omni comes equipped with two sets of fittings, meaning you can move the gate to openings located in various locations across the house, or even take away with you when going on holiday, or when little one is staying at their grandparents. Once you have fixed the fittings you can simply clip and unclip the gate and relocate it with no further effort required.
To make the installation process as easy as it can be, Omni comes with templates which can be used to easily align to your wall. The pack also includes wall spacers- these will help you build up wall thickness if you wish to fit the gate against walls with skirting boards.
The stylish aluminium case offers extra protection against the creasing of the mesh, as well as offering a modern and sleek design, suitable for any sophisticated interior. The eyesores of hardware gates are a memory of the past – Omni will blend into its surroundings seamlessly.
Omni can be operated with one hand: simply push down the dial and twist to unlock/lock, then pull the gate out to extend. Fit the bottom of the gate into its fitting, then disengage the handle lock to be able to secure the top of the gate. Once the gate is fitted, it cannot be removed from its fittings, unless the handle lock is disengaged, providing extra safety and security.
Secure Handle Locking Feature
Omni has been designed with a handle that contains an additional locking feature. This is perfect to provide extra safety and security for keeping your pet or little one at bay. Once the gate has been extended and locked, it cannot be removed, unless the button on the handle is pressed and the handle pulled down, to disengage the lock.
Simple One Handed Operation
Omni is fitted with a very simple and easy to use one handed operation. To open, push down dial and twist left to unlock. Then extend the gate to the opposite side to secure in place.
This is perfect for when carrying your little one around the house.
Relocatable Clip ON/OFF Feature
The Callowesse Omni Retractable Stair Gate is able to be relocated to an alternative location within your house. The pack comes with a second set of fixings, simply slide down the clip on the side of the gate, which will release it from its fixings, then lift up and relocate!
Skirting Board Spacer Kit Included
Within the Omni box, you will find a spacer kit, that will allow you to build up the wall area when you are attempting to fit the Omni Safety Gate to a wall which has skirting boards.
Please note: only one spacer kit is included, so can only be used with 1 fixing set. If you require a spacer kit for the 2nd set of fixings included in the pack, these are available for purchase separately.
Aluminium Protective Case
The silver aluminium protective case on the Omni, prevents the mesh gate from creasing when retracting in on itself. But it also prevents any adventurous hands from getting caught in the mechanism. Not only this but it brings additional style and class to your home, rather than the eyesore of hardware safety gates that can be a memory of the past.
Suitable for Pets
Omni is made from sturdy and durable woven mesh fabric, coated with a tough stain resistant child Safe PVC coating, to ensure that it will not tear, rip or snap. This makes it perfect for even keeping your pets at bay. With the double locking mechanism, it makes it even more secure, for when your pet charges at the gate.

We’ve bought this for containing our dogs. It arrived extremely quickly. It is not difficult to put up, just need to drill a few holes. The great benefit is that you can have catches in different places (so closing off different areas), and also when not in use, it rolls back into it’s cassette, so it is not in the way. It takes a little while to get used to the catch, but we have been using it now for over a week, and we are very pleased with it.
