The Saluki Tall and Narrow Pet Gate (66-71cm wide and 96cm tall) is one of the latest gates added to the Callowesse safety collection. It has been designed with large pets in mind. The gate can also be used as a child safety gate.
The Saluki tall and narrow pet gate fits into narrow openings as the standard of 66-71 cm. However, you have the options to add extensions in size of 7, 14 and 28 cm, where you can fully extend the gate to 127cm (extensions sold separately) The gate stands tall at 96cm.
Thanks to the dual locks on the Saluki pet gate, you can ensure security is provided for keeping your pet at bay. The gate also ensures your little one is kept safe as well (ensure adult supervision is provided at all times). The clear locking indicators on the handle, show when the gate is locked (red) and when the gate is unlocked (green). The Saluki pet gate is designed to fit in both directions, bringing ease to your home. The gate then also stays open at 90 degrees and auto-closes when pushed shut. The simple one-handed operation on this gate is perfect for when your hands are full, simply slide to unlock and tilt the handle upwards and walkthrough.
The Saluki Tall and Narrow Pet Gate is supplied fully assembled and is very easy to install, no drilling is required. Simply insert the pressure screws and tighten to apply pressure. Follow the provided instructions to ensure a secure fit. This gate is suitable for stairs, doorways and hallways.

This tall Dog Gate stands at 96cm high making it perfect for stopping most pets from jumping over.
The Saluki is designed to fit into narrow openings ranging from 66-71cm.
If you require to fit this gate into larger openings, extensions are available separately. Extensions available are: 7cm, 14cm & 28cm.
Pressure Fit Safety Gate
The Saluki Pressure Fit Safety Gate requires no screws to be drilled into your walls. Instead simply slide the pressure fit screws into the 4 slots on the gate (the pressure pins do not screw into the gate itself), and apply pressure by twisting the nuts using the spanner provided.
Please Note: As this gate requires pressure to be fitted, the gate will have a V-Shape making it look bent out of shape. This is normal. Fit the gate into your opening following the instructions provided and the gate will align correctly.
One Handed Opening
The Saluki is designed with a unique opening mechanism, in an attempt elimainate little one being able to open the gate themselves.
To open the gate simply slide the latch forward and lift up the handle. Doing this process disengages the two locking points of the gate.
When Saluki is locked, you will see green on the lock. When it is unlocked, you will see red.
Double Locking Mechanism
The Saluki Baby Gate is fitted with 2 locking points, making sure it is secure for your home.
You have a catch at the top of the gate and also at the bottom to provide extra security for keeping your pet at bay, but it also ensures your little one stays safe too.
Stay Open & Auto Swing Shut Features
The Saluki Safety Gate is designed to be opened in both directions making it suitable for any home. Once open, you are able to keep it open, by pushing it to a 90 degree angle.
If you wish for the gate not to stay open, simply let go, it will automatically swing shut and lock.
Saluki Extensions (Sold Separately)
If your opening is larger than 66-71cm and you wish to have this gate, you can! Callowesse offers extensions to fit the Saluki Safety Gate.
Extensions available are: 7cm, 14cm & 28cm.
We recommend only using one extension per side of the gate to ensure the gate is safe to use. The Saluki can be extended to a maximum of 127cm
Unless you're buying a premade bundle the extensions are sold separately.
